Do you ever have one of those days, when you can't help but see The Good Lord working all around you? Well, if you haven't I pray that you do, but if you have you know exactly what I am talking about. You see it doesn't have to be big things that show up, it doesn't have to be visible in material things, not saying it can't be, but oh those little things just make my heart smile and say Thank You God. I had a moment today where I was praying for a sister in Christ, not because she specifically asked for it, but because she was on my heart. She and I have become prayer warriors for each other and someone that we can always reach out to for Biblical advice on life in general. Over two decades ago I knew her, but not the her she is today nor myself, fast forward to the present as of 2 or 3 years ago and we ended up at the same church. We were both nervous to speak to one another because the past ended on not so good of terms. This is where the Love of Jesus plays a roll in life with forgiveness, grace, mercy and love. With the love of Jesus in you, you do not harbor bitterness, you do not hold on to the past, which is forgiveness, we give grace as God has given us. The point here is God has had a hand in where we are today! Here's where God did His thing today. I was praying for her and all of this I told you, just hit me like a ton of bricks. I had forgiven her in my heart, but I had never repented of the anger I felt back then. Often times I pray for God to reveal to me any sin that I have not repented of, well that was revealed, and I asked for forgiveness right then and there and then thanked Him for revealing that to me. I thanked Him for placing her in my life and I thanked Him for showing me where I needed to get right with Him from my unrepented sin of bitterness! I count this as so much Joy in Jesus!! When you get that genuine relationship with Jesus in your heart and soul, you CANNOT help but feel JOY! In this story I see where God took something that was not good over 2 decades ago and turned into something absolutely beautiful! Romans 8:28 says For we know all things work together for good, to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. You see she and I both have both went from people that did not have a relationship with God to two people that truly do. That's a true testimony of what God can do when you love Him and surrender to Him.
