At some point in life something will break everyone. You will make mistakes, you will be hurt or traumatized by other's mistakes, death, sickness, finances, and so many other things that will naturally devastate you. These things will control your everyday life if you don't seek God's face to get you through. I can testify on this! Nothing will ever break the chains like Him!! These trials in life will make you a slave to depression, sadness, anger, bitterness, a hardened heart, confusion, and a life of turmoil. Galatians 5:1 tells us, It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. You lay it at His feet. Give it to God and DO NOT pick it back up. Your faith in Him has removed it and you are free from it. This includes things you have done. Repent of them and do not continue in that sin. Psalm 124:7 Our soul has escaped as a bird out of the snare of the trapper; the snare is broken and we have escaped. Praise the Lord!! There is peace, there is joy, oh so much joy, there is clarity, there is love in Jesus. You will only find this if you believe in Him. He died on that cross and rose 3 days later to carry our sins and the sins that have been done against us. If you believe in Him and put your faith and trust in Him, you can have this freedom. Being a good person won't free you, therapy won't free you completely, putting it on the back burner won't free you, alcohol and drugs won't free you, JESUS is the only way to total freedom!! Now, I can tell you this because I am LIVING PROOF! This world has thrown plenty at me to destroy me and my life, but because of Jesus I have everlasting life and freedom to not be a slave to the darkness!
